The Sapiechowscy Meat Processing Plant is located in picturesque Wierzchowisko near Wolbrom. Founded and run by Małgorzata and Jerzy Sapiechowscy.
In response to dynamic growth and the desire to acquire customers from the European Union, the plant is undergoing a thorough modernization. The slaughterhouse and meat cutting building will be expanded, and semi-pneumatic slaughter equipment will be installed. EU standards will be met and approval for trade with EU countries will be obtained.
The work of the younger generation, the Sapiechowski brothers, has brought about further modernization of the plant. An automated slaughter line for cattle and pigs has been installed. The livestock storage and cold storage for half-carcasses have been expanded. Constant veterinary supervision and the implementation of the HACCP system guarantee the health safety of the meat. Monthly, 1,200-3,000 pigs and 100-250 cattle are slaughtered.
The next modernization in 2022 will see the construction of a new meat processing plant. The expanded cold storage facility will enable the monthly slaughter of 2,500-5,000 pigs. Meat sales are also planned within the European Union, continuing the company's expansion into the international market.
Due to its dynamic growth and significant increase in sales of pork sides, resulting from a daily slaughter of 500-700 pigs, the Sapiechowscy company made a strategic decision to change its legal structure. In 2022/2023, our company transformed into a limited liability company, enabling us to manage our operations even more effectively, further expand, and strengthen our market position. This change allows us to better meet the needs of our customers, optimize production and logistics processes, and continue the dynamic development of our offerings.
The year 2025 proved to be an exceptionally important period in our company's history. Thanks to the consistent work of the entire team and the trust of our trading partners, the company significantly increased sales. Furthermore, we obtained official permission to sell pork sides and cuts on the Ukrainian market. This opened up new export opportunities and strengthened our position in the meat industry. To meet growing demand and provide our customers with an even higher standard of service, we decided to begin construction of a modern cold store. The investment will allow for the storage of approximately 800 pork sides, significantly increasing our slaughter and logistics capabilities. This will allow us to fulfill orders even more efficiently, expand our offerings, and develop partnerships both domestically and internationally. This investment is another step towards the further development of the Sapiechowscy Company – a guarantee of the stability, quality, and trust we have built over the years with our customers and partners.
